Ah yes, the annual "try to find a scoop about Lotusphere" season is open.
Several readers and a few blogs yesterday alerted me to a comment in one of the trade press's rumor mill columns related to Lotusphere '04.  Not commenting in any kind of official capacity here, but is it really believable that someone from IBM Lotus would decline to present at Lotusphere?  Gee, I can't imagine why someone would want to spend a week in Orlando in January surrounded by thousands of customers who are fully invested in the solutions and technology from IBM Lotus.  And I must have been imagining the more than 100 times I had to hit the "reject" button on sessions selected for the tracks I manage at Lotusphere.
Which reminds me, I really should get that other presentation done....

Of course, to be fair, morale may be low because of layoffs. Still, I have seen no sign of the kinds of stuff he talks about, and the idea that people would decline to speak at Lotusphere is ridiculous.
