There was an article picked up by one of the Lotus-related news wires the other day that seemed to indicate a security issue with "Notes for Linux" (astute readers knowing, of course, that there is no such thing).  It was about a problem with file access permissions when installing Domino on Linux.
IBM Lotus published a technote yesterday which explains that the problem was with the rights of the user who installed Domino, not anything to do with Domino's installation itself.  The technote is here.
I was a UNIX admin off and on from 1989 to 1994.... reading about umasks and chmod commands really takes me back.  I always love to tease newbie UNIX people with the suggestion that they run the command "rm -r *" in their root directory to improve system performance.
