I'm sure it's purely coincidence, but a few hours after yesterday's blog entry on the new Microsoft book on Notes migration, here's what you'll get when you surf on over to the download center:
"The download you requested is unavailable.  If you continue to see this message when trying to access this download, you might try the "Search for a Download" area on the Download Center home page."
Well, I know a bunch of us downloaded it yesterday.... I wonder where it went?
If, and this is only an if, there is a correlation between the comments posted here and the removal of the download, that would be pretty interesting.  It would, in fact, be a fascinating story about the power of blogging,  If anyone knows the story, I'd consider it quite a favor to share it here.  Even those of you reading from WaggEd ;)

Oh, now *THAT* would be rich! Glad I downloaded it yesterday and have it backed up in two different places... :-)

I guess somebody got a bit of a slapped wrist in MS after news of the inaccuracies filtered back up to them.

I have a copy of the document, it was an interesting read and if examined carefully you can see the message that you should only migrate your simple apps as the complex ones will take too long.

We have about 40 different notes based apps and if I had to migrate them starting tomorrow I can estimate that it would take me about 2 years to get them all done and that's not counting the fire fighting on all the bugs that would appear because of the migration.

I think you may find that XP SP2 cleaned up that download overnight as it was a distinct security risk. Either that or it was caught by the spam filter for being full of ****

    >Referring to research, it read: "Linux was found to be >over 10 times more expensive than Windows Server 2003".
