Remember back in the days when Lotusphere was like 10,000 people?  One of the differences back then is that Lotusphere attendees tended to come from a range of organizational levels -- administrators/developers/architects, but also IT management, directors, and CIOs.  In the last few years, fewer senior IT people have attended Lotusphere, and the content was adjusted accordingly.
For 2005, IBM has just announced a new conference-within-a-conference called IBM Workplace Forum 2005.  This is a two day program within Lotusphere, with its own keynote, breakout sessions, and birds-of-a-feathers.  Registration includes admission to all Lotusphere conference activities.
More details about the agenda for Workplace Forum will be posted shortly.  See here for the details as of the moment.

So where will IBM Workplace Web Content Management be discussed? It seems a shame to have lost the Lotus affiliation.

If this brings execs, who get to see the excitement around the Domino platform, that's a good thing.

If this takes pressure off the opening session to be press-showcase for Workpalce and lets it stay focused on the content of interest to the Domino crowd -- even when talking about workplace -- that's a good thing.

Can already-registered Lotusphere attendees attend these new Workplace sessions as part of their registration?

@5 Nancy, I believe the answer is "yes" -- let's say I'm 90% sure on that. I'll try to get 100% sure once the sessions in that track are announced.
