Home from one trip, ready for the next. Next Saturday, March 28, I'll be speaking at the 3rd Conference on Students Global Competitiveness at Bowling Green State University, Ohio. The topic of the conference is "Social Networking for Good". Other speakers are from Yahoo! and Rootwork.org.
I'm looking forward to another opportunity to take real-world experience and success in using social networking tools into the academic atmosphere. Much like my recent IBM Innovation Café presentation, this is intended to be much more experiential, much less product pitch.
The event is targeted at students who are members of the SIGC group at Bowling Green State University, but is open to the public I know of at least one local IBMer who is planning to join the event.... happy to see many more.

I will be able to make it. I am excited that you are coming to my alma mater, a school that I am proud to support (I try to speak on campus at least once a year).
I am getting the word out locally to my network of colleagues. Hopefully we will get a good showing of professionals who are also active in social networking to engage with the students.
And perhaps I won't the only local IBMer to show up.

Very cool! BGSU is just down the road from me. Unfortunately I'll be teaching the Boy Scout shotgun merit badge course that day, or I'd drop by.
