At WES2009 and IMPACT this week, one of the new technologies IBM Lotus is demonstrating is an extension of Alloy by IBM and SAP to run on a mobile device such as a Blackberry.
Since we initially shipped Alloy back in March, one of the most frequently-asked questions has been, when can I get to Alloy on something other than the Notes client? Today, we're demonstrating technology that would allow Alloy users to access SAP-related workflow on a mobile device such as a Blackberry.
Alloy is off to a great start in the six weeks we've been in market, with tons of customer interest. I am going to be at SAP's SAPphire conference next week on Monday and Tuesday in Orlando, FL USA. If you are going to be there, let me know -- would love to connect and show you the latest on Alloy and Notes/Domino.

Nice to see this.
Question: Has the tight SAP relationship saved / prevented any large migrations? Has it ever won a company back?

Well, the first one is already out there -- The Coca-Cola Company was on stage at Lotusphere. You remember, right? :-)

It's an interesting concept that Domino is poised to become the leading gateway to SAP processes.
