And if you’re NOT coming to Lotusphere...
January 19 2007
You'll still get to see a lot of it. On Monday, there will be information on how to view the Opening General Session online, in addition to the live blogging already announced.
Beyond that, I've been given the green light to announce that 40-plus Lotusphere presentations from the AD, ID, INV, and JMP tracks will be posted as podcasts to developerWorks during March 2007. I'll share the URL with you once I know where they will be posted.

Oy. Here I am asking about who's live-blogging the opening session, and I forgot that it starts at 5:30 AM my time.

Excellent news! For the first time in many years, I am not returning to the sphere. I am glad to learn I will be able to watch the keynote online.

That's great news! Ever since I was repurposed to Identity Management it sealed my fate of no more Lotusphere. Too bad there's no Tivolisphere. Between the live blogging and the opening session on line it will feel like I was part of it.

Hi Ed. I could not make Lotusphere this year. My company was taken over in a hostile takeover and now we are expecting to be layed off any day. I have been working with Lotus Notes since verson 3. I am attending job fairs etc and am very disappointed at how many companies are telling me that nobody is using Lotus Notes anymore. It is not easy to find an Administration job in Notes. Companies have either gone to Exchange or have outsourced much of their IT . Any thoughts I am wondering on this trend. I have been a Administering Notes for 11 years. Do you hear this issue often ? Just wanted an opinion. Thanks

Great to hear about the podcasts. Its always nice to have access to some of that information after the fact for reference. There's just so much information, its hard to absorb it all. (Which is a great problem to have.)

Or a May thing maybe...
Anyone know if the ls2007online site will be put back up please?
There are quite a few of the sessions I went to that it would be really useful to get the slides for now we're working through everything that came out of the conference.
