Well, not me personally...but for those consultants, business partners, systems integrators, and groupies who are... welcome to Lotus's home town!

Image:Are you in Boston for the MS partner conference? We are. :-)

My colleagues and I would like to invite you to a special hometown-crowd reception on Tuesday night.  I wish I could be there -- to talk shop, to explore opportunities, and to have some fun.

There's more fun around town -- Lotus marketing is behind a few other interesting activities this week, like some of the local advertising:

Anything in particular we need to know for attendance to this event?

    The password is "abetterway".

Actually, no, I think it's open to any business partner, ISV, GSI, consultant, etc. who is interested in learning more about the benefits of partnering with IBM/Lotus.

Microsoft likes to do this at JavaOne. And JavaOne attendees like to give out the invitations (and T-shirts) to the homeless around Moscone center.

    Bummer,

Now I am torn, the Canada night party is tomorrow night and Sam Roberts is playing. Torn between a Lotus party and a Great Canadian Musician...

Being here in Round Rock, TX (home of Dell), it was amusing to see the "Sun's got a new x64 server. Watch out Dell!" banner fly over Dell HQ. I wonder if Lotus marketing might do something as bold over Redmond! :-)

This is really great Ed. I am becoming more and more impressed with IBM's marketing this year.
