Public memo to the salesman with a US phone number who called my IBM office phone this morning and had the system try to locate me:

It's Memorial Day.  

It is one thing to call and leave me a voicemail (which you did as well) on the assumption that I'm not going to be around, and gee, maybe you'll be the first shill I'll endure on Tuesday morning.... but it's another to consciously press the button to connect to me on a holiday.

Small actions ensure future failures.  I don't even care what you were selling -- I'm now sure I'll never need it.
