Unfortunately, Colin wasn't able to join the Notes user group meeting in Wellington last week, but he did attend the Notes & Domino 7 upgrade seminar a couple of days later.

Wednesdays seminar...featured a passionate Lotus Notes and Domino guru in the form of Wayne Boxall from IBM Australia. His entire 2 hour presentation had me enthralled and even though I knew much of the material, it felt fresh and has energised me to a new enthusiasm I've not had for quite some time. ...

I spoke to a couple of people during a break and they were clearly enjoying it as much as I was. Their comments reflecting my own feelings - "IBM need to do more of this".
Indeed, Wayne and the team are doing a great job in getting the word out across Australia and New Zealand.  I do believe there will be more of this....

As for this:
If I can think of a single negative in Waynes presentation, it would be the fact that he only had screen shots of Hannover rather than a working version.
Since we're in a "pre-beta" stage, distribution of the working builds of "Hannover" is limited, even within IBM.  That is going to start changing within a week or so, leading up to the "M3" (Milestone 3) beta release in mid-October.
