For those who bleed yellow....
January 24 2008
My colleague Thomas Bryner found me this morning...and showed me this:
He reports that he had this made by Colorware Custom. Very cool! Also see this link for their view of this iPod on their own website.

No doubt what should be used as the giveaways from now on. I fully expect to see Notes-branded iPods on all the pedestals at Lotusphere2009...

What Ed did not tell you is that it will have a Notes client inside :-)

Can these be purchased anywhere?
Oh, and an iPhone version would be cool also.

I just spoke with a rep from Colorware Custom. These are not available for sale due to the IBM owned logos on them. Hopefully IBM will offer a way to get them. I was ready to buy...

Not for sale? That stinks... I have an iPhone but would buy a Notes iPod in a heartbeat...
Whoever at IBM Marketing came up with this idea is truely a great "out of the box" thinker!

Hi all - we created this custom iPod for some special events over in Switzerland and had as great a resonance as all these comments show - THIS IS GREAT!
@3 I wasn't aware they use this as a "reference case" - thanks to "colorware" for this honor and to Justin for bringing it up.
Let's see where we can take it...

That is probably the coolest Notes-related thing I've ever seen :)
