Well, probably half the U.S. sushi places I've ever been to have had a (very non-traditional) roll offering often called a 'Japanese Bagel' - (smoked) salmon, cream cheese, and typical something like onion. Nothing wrong with a little fusion. :-)

My Wife would go crazy if it was salmon on a fresh baked bagel, I would ask for mine sans sea life...

@5 I agree, imagine a soft breaded roll wrapped around your choice of sushi :-)
I miss the kosher mexican restaurant that used to be in Paris.

It's a fast food/sandwich place that also has sushi. { Link }
Strange combination, perhaps, but we have the same sort of restaurant right around the corner from our house - hamburgers, hot dogs, shwarma, and sushi.

@5 - that reminds me of the gag about the Jewish / Japanese restaurant... it was called 'SoSueMe'.

@7 Jackie, they don't serve bagels, but they do have challah
@8 there was also a restaurant in a movie called The Last Dragon, name is Sum Dum Goy, { Link }
Wondering if French sushi is even smaller than 1/2 sheet sushi due to french proportions.

The address, "8, rue Parrot 75012 Paris" makes me wonder if there's a Monty Python sketch involved...

I cannot even believe my eye's. A reference to 'The Last Dragon' on this blog! Never in a million years did I think I would see the day... :)

Lox, cream cheese, on cinnamon toast? Get it outta here!

@7 - Someone needs to help the restaurant to choose the color... Seems like my 5-year old girl did the painting job for them :-)

A Kosher Sushi Bagels place?!
That sounds very weird and very troubling...

Yuck!
