Hammacher hammers down a price based on blog feedback

I received an e-mail today from the marketing department at Hammacher Schlemmer:

I came across your site several weeks ago and I read the thread regarding the Weightless Headset Phone.  In response to posts on this topic, we have lowered the price on this item to $99.95 to be in line with competitors.
Cool!  This is about the GetXAct XG2500 "earbud phone", gracing my ear right this very moment.  Unfortunately, I didn't buy it at Hammacher, but now I know for the future that they are intent on being competitive in the marketplace.

Side note: This explains the referrers a few weeks ago from a hammacher.com intranet blog site.  Nice to see their competitive intelligence people are watching the web.
