At IBM's Impact 2013, we captured thoughts from some of the leading business partners and alliances who have embraced the opportunity for building mobile enterprise solutions. I wanted to highlight the video here specifically because part of my daily effort is to help expand the IBM MobileFirst ecosystem...whether through our messages, programs, or partnerships.

We are in the process of making it easier for partners to get involved in IBM MobileFirst. New IBM ASL pricing for solutions like IBM Worklight entered the market recently, and I am in the process of creating a straightforward path towards certification for selling MobileFirst. As for the products and services themselves, IBM Worklight Developer edition is a no-charge download, and we recently announced a way to deploy the server-side components in a trial at no charge.

Ready to join the IBM MobileFirst partner ecosystem? Here's how to get started.

Comment 06/14/13: In RTP, NC, Lotus Domino and Lotus Traveler have been outsourced to Manilla, Philippines. For the last 6 months those affected by the RA have been training them to take their jobs. The cuts were made this week and more are expected as Manilla continues to come on board for these products. Lotus Traveler, Lotus Domino, WebSphere Portal. Basically, we gave them the bullet, IBM just pulled the trigger -Jim-

    Glad to see you're safe.

Ah, the sounds-like-it-could-be-true rumor mill. I can't comment on specifics but it sounds like this might be related to the build-out of a new tech support center in SE Asia.
