Michael Sampson of Shared Spaces was interviewed in the current issue of IT Business Edge:

Question: Are you seeing signs that vendors are better responding to their customers' needs?
Sampson: Vendors are definitively focused on better responding to the needs of their customers. IBM Lotus has made clear that Notes and Domino have an ongoing strategic role within its product portfolio, and is bringing new and exciting capabilities to market. One example is Activity Explorer for lightweight workspaces shared between multiple people. Microsoft has realized the folly of trying to do everything in Exchange, and has a portfolio of products to try to address the collaboration market, although it still has a ways to go.
