So, the strike in Israel  has ended, but not without cost.  We were delayed an hour leaving Tel Aviv, which translated into missed connections for dozens of Lufthansa passengers.

As has often been the case, I am totally impressed with Lufthansa.  Before I was off the plane, they had rebooked me for tomorrow morning and arranged a hotel.  They even accommodated me on their partner TAP without question.  And they didn't send me to a low-end hotel, I'm in the Sheraton at the airport.  With a 30 Euro food voucher.  And a boarding pass in hand for tomorrow morning.  Considering that the strike wasn't their fault, this is way above and beyond what I expected for tonight.

Lisbon -- I will see you tomorrow.  And thanks to Fernando for rearranging the agenda to make this all work.
