Lotusphere 2005 -- Record-high ratings
April 6 2005
You know those surveys y'all fill out on
your way out of Lotusphere? Every year since the conference's inception,
attendees have been asked how they rate the overall conference, in addition
to the individual session evaluations.
The results from the Lotusphere 2005
conference evaluations arrived in my e-mail today. The result --
a staggering 81% of the breakout sessions received an "excellent"
rating on quality and relevance of information presented. This is
the highest score ever, going all the way back to 1994.
Other new records:
- 90% of attendees indicated they were able to attend all the sessions they wanted to -- a record score in this area, too.
- The Lotusphere labs scored the highest ever -- in all four rating categories (hours, number of labs, staffing/room, and quality/relevance)
- Birds-of-a-Feather also had the highest number of "excellent" -- 76%
I have information on the top-rated sessions at Lotusphere, too, but I'm going to save that for tomorrow. :)

Ditto - Definitely the best LS I've attended (my 3rd one) as far as content and clarity.

Well deserved Ed. A well organised and executed event which did a great deal more then provide information in the week. It re-invirgorated the energy in the product for a lot of doubters. Also great craic.

a-hem. I was *not* naked or wearing a kilt during the session itself.
(ever regret making *one* joke.. ?)

You and all the planning staff, speakers, and organizers did a *great* job! Congrats, and I'm glad to see people recognized it.
