I have to admit, DJ Steve Porter wasn't on my radar until a few months ago, when Bob Picciano pinged me the "slap chop rap" video link on YouTube.  So I wasn't entirely surprised to see the man himself standing on the Lotusphere stage at the closing session, and I love what he did to our week:

Ed - this was an awesome video by Steve. Steve has agreed to be interviewed on The Taking Notes podcast. Stay tuned for more info.

    Again - FANTASTIC stuff.

Sorry that I missed live and in color, or live and in relative warmth. Thanks

The comments on the video bring you back to reality with a bump though ;-(

One day we'll change this perception of Lotus...

Stuart, I think some of the comments, considering the wide appeal of DJ Steve Porter, are quite positive. This is the guy who makes "Slap chop rap" and a bunch of very mainstream videos that may or may not at all overlap with the demographic that might use Lotus software. There are plenty of "LOTUS NOTES FTW" or "Lotus are lucky to have had you do that as it's made them that more cooler!" etc. I'll take it.

Ed, do you know that name of the drum and violin outfit that opened the OGS? They were awesome. Would like to enjoy more of them.
