For those who couldn't make it to Orlando last week, some of the dates and locations for Lotusphere Comes to You 2006 have been published on the IBM website.  This list is not yet complete, but it starts to give you an idea of some of the schedule.

I've already committed to the week of March 6 in the Nordics -- Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland.  I'll also be in southeast Asia the week of April 17.  And I am pretty sure I'll be at the Chicago event on March 1. :)

    Dear Ed,

could you PLEASE talk to the person responsible for this site about getting names and countries right?

It's either Wien or Vienna, but definately not Wein -- that is, at least in Austria -- somethin quite pleasurable to drink.

And another thing -- Austria is no longer part of Germany. To be exact, for almost 51 years now. And you americans helped us being free again. So please, do not put us back into Germany. ;)

oh no, not again...same problem last time! I'll get it fixed.

There's five events in the Netherlands, at different BP's, starting monday 13th of March. Tuesday 14th of March, my employer e-office will host one of them. Ron Sebastian will be speaking on all five events, as far as I know.

I long to go back to Lotusphere, but since I left the business partner realm and became a customer it just hasn't ever made it into the budget. We'll have to correct that next year - sounds like it might be an epic show in 2007.

In the past I know the session presentations have been published after the show. Is that the case, and if so is it only for the privileged, and can I be priviliged even though I didn't attend this year?

Already registered for Dallas session in March.

You know, Ed, your map of countries travelled looks mighty empty around Africa... You know, Cape Town is just about one of the best places to visit on earth?

I hope you do not forget us in Australia

@7 - Damn fine idea. I'm certain I could show Ed a good time up here in Joburg, too.

    Hi Ed,

I attended your session at Lotusphere called "The Boss loves Microsoft - where does that leave IBM Lotus". I think your session was great and to the point. The pressure from MS here in the Nordics (my company is located both in Denmark and Sweden)is tremendous and we really look forward to seeing you here. I'll personally make sure to get all the customers I can to be there for your session.

    Welcome to Scandinavia.

No hope to see you in an Italy date Ed?

@9 Hello Nathan - you know, until very recently (two weeks ago?) I didn't even know you were in the country :) wo when you're down in Cape Town, you must come and share a bottle of wine with us Lotus folk (that's all we do here, remember, drink wine, gaze at the mountain and leave work at 14h00 on Fridays).

@7 @9 / I can't conjure up a LCTY event in South Africa on my own... otherwise it certainly would have been on my list. At the moment, my international travel is basically booked through May, so we'll have to see about 2H06 plans.

@8 There are a number of LCTY events in Oz. Week of March 6: 7 March in Brisbane, 8 March in Sydney, 9 March in Canberra, 10 March in Melbourne. Not sure where registration info is yet.

@11 There is at least one Italy date. As you might expect, internal competition at Lotus is fierce for travel to certain countries, and I believe someone who has the words "vice president" in their title has opted to cover Italy.

For anyone in the UK planning to attend the London event on the 7th of March, we are planning a UK Lotus Notes User Group session the day after on the 8th.

2 good reasons to come to the city and we're also planning a social event (someone say Geek Dinner?) on the evening after the IBM event if anybody is up for it.

    Further details in the UK User group forums { Link }

    Hi Ed,

Sounds like you have a busy March already, but I'll look for you in NYC on March 15 anyway.

    Happy travels

@Ed & IBM: Thanks for correcting the Austria/Vienna thing. :)

  1. 19  Volker Weber http://vowe.net |

Want to bet that Vienna will move to Germany one year from now again? ;-)

  1. 20  Ed Brill www.edbrill.com |

@19 not if we can get IBM Workplace for Geographic Accuracy v3 deployed during 2006, including the enhanced historical irrelevance module.

  1. 21  Martin ’m3’ Leyrer http://www.leyrer.priv.at/martin |

    @19) Wouldn't bet against you.

@20) LOL. But that product name is definately too short for a real one. ;)

That's funny. Always good to see somebody with a seriously chilled out sense of humour.

I'm lookin at Vowe's t-sirts & thinkin' where did the Rastaman go?...

    No Notes, no cry.

    I shot the sharepoint.

    Hallelujah Hannover time.

Now you see the light, stand up for your Domino right.

Get up, stand up. Don't give up the good fight :)
