Microsoft Exchange alternatives seminar, NYC, March 23
March 11 2005
This event isn't announced on the IBM website yet, but I found a listing on another site...
IBM is hosting a free seminar entitled 'Microsoft Exchange Alternatives' on March 23rd 2005. Free breakfast and lunch will be served and several lucky individuals will walk away with one of several iPods IBM will be giving away, as well as Tee-shirts and other goodies.I'll be speaking at this event, along with a couple of IBM partners. We'll cover the messaging/collaboration marketplace, reasons why customers have selected IBM Lotus, success stories, and "how to" details.
The event is being held at IBM's offices in New York, 590 Madison. Limited seating available, must RSVP via e-mail to ASCNYC@us.ibm.com.

Poor Microsoft... here they're trying to give seminars on how well they can play with Notes, and you all are trying to convince people to walk away from them...
Don't you just feel... bad?

Right now just New York and a similar event in Dallas. I did something like this in Chicago last year. IBM is definitely interested in rolling it out further.

@2 - feel bad? We might upset Microsoft, but we're doing the Exchange customers a favour (even if they don't know it yet). Why should we feel bad? ;o)

Ed, perhaps you could suggest different colored faceplates for the iPod giveaways. Do one for each color IBM SW Brand like the following:
