More Lotusphere ´05 news - two special sessions!
December 27 2004
As I mentioned last week, there's some more exciting Lotusphere '05 news out today. Two special sessions have been added to the agenda:
- Gurupalooza -- All the speakers in the Best Practices track will be invited to form a panel of experts on Thursday the 27th at 11:15 AM in the Swan. There will be other sessions in this time slot, but for those interested, it will be a great chance to "ask anything" of these distinguished speakers.
- "Lotus Notes: From 1984 Through 2005 and Beyond" -- This panel is designed to celebrate the recent major anniversaries of the creation and shipping of Lotus Notes, as well as muse, ruminate, and postulate what the future of Lotus Notes, and collaboration in general, will look like. We're thisclose to finalizing an excellent, well-known industry figure as the moderator for the panel, which will feature a number of IBM and industry experts. This panel will take place on Tuesday, January 25, at a time still to be announced.
One other Lotusphere tidbit: session listings for the IBM Workplace Forum have been posted.

@4 Bruce,
No not yet. I am having some configuration issues I am working out to combine it with the OpenNTF FeedReader I have deployed at a client site (which by the way has been a rousing/smashing success from the end users point of view). I need to do the integration because Google News steadfastly refuses to offer an RSS Feed.
I am also making changes to another application from openNTF that I am rolling out to the same client, but you will have to attend my Lotusphere session to find out what that one is (openNTF gets and important and early mention in the presentation). I would tell Rich to come but it is at 8:30 Tuesday morning. I hope I make it there as I am far from a morning person either!
@7 Mosh Pit...hmm, well since Widespread Panic is on hiatus until March, maybe we could bribe them to come down and provide the entertainment:-).

Bill, How can you avoid tripping all the time anyway?
Bruce, I'll slam anytime, but I have a hard time finding other people willing anymore. lol.
The last really good pit I remember would have been Black Flag in San Fran sometime in the mid 80's.

Glad to see some special sessions like this in addition to all of the indepth, more routine content. Thanks.
