IBM Press has published a useful new book: Survival Guide for Lotus Notes and Domino Administrators.  Written by IBMer Mark Elliott, the book covers essentials on configuring the Notes client, including end-user settings as well as how to use policies, and key new features of Notes/Domino 8.  There's also a whole section of the book that shares tips and hints on user support and management, and a component that helps admins find additional help -- including all sorts of useful online resources, such as  The book is about 250 pages long, and while I did not read it cover to cover, I was pleased to see the specific examples and details, and am hopeful that the casual reader who picks this up via or in a bookstore finds their way into the Lotus community through the links and pointers within.
