We released Lotus Notes Traveler Companion, an iPhone app that allows Domino mail users to read their encrypted mail on the iPhone, during Lotusphere 2010.  It has had tens of thousands of installs in just under three months' time -- not bad for IBM's very first app store app.

Now that we've had some field experience, the development and support team wrote an FAQ to go with Notes Traveler Companion:

We have assembled a list of the most common questions and answers about Traveler Companion below. If you are having problems with Traveler Companion, please look over this information first to see if your question has already been answered. If you need to submit feedback or a bug report please read topics 8-10 for instructions.
Useful stuff.

Any plans for iNotes (ultralite) to recognize an iPad? Just tested it and it doesn't sense it, and instead goes to regular iNotes (which doesnt work via a the iPad's touch interface).

Just figured out how to add "iPad" into the browser detection metadata. It now senses the iPad and shows UltraLite. It is not perfect (needs some iPad formatting which will surely come later), though works well for now.

Hi, I would love to know how you got the browser detection metadata to determine it as an iPad ?
