The Lotus Quickr team has been working to create a separate download package for Quickr Entry 8.1.  That package is now available on Passport  Advantage, under the e-assembly part number of  CR72XEN.  Happy downloading!

    Hey Ed,

Are they rolling it out in stages? Just curious because I had verified with our local sales rep that we would have access to it, but don't see it out there yet. Just curious.

    Andy,

Should be there. Be sure to look for an e-assembly. (no, I don't know why we make that distinction...)

@1 It looks like the Passport site is a bit difficult to navigate and the search capability is not working well to help you find this entry. It is in the list of "associated products included at no extra charge". I am looking for an easier way to locate this and will post more here as soon as I have additional info.

Thanks Ed for following up. Searching on the part number is returning the Domino e-assembly downloads, but not listing that in there. I'll be patient...at least I'll try. I'm sure it will show up.

To find it, I had to go to download finder, view all available software, expand Lotus Software and then use Find in this Page in Firefox. Very Simple :P

Thanks Brian. It shows up that way....and only that way for me too ;-)

Also available on Business Partner Electronic software download now too.

Downloaded in 10 minutes, installed on Domino 8.0.1 in 6 minutes on Windows 2003.

I've seen on a couple of posts elsewhere that Quickr Entry is a flat view only and has no folders, category or tag views.

    Can anyone confirm this?

@GarryL - I've seen the same thing. Entry doesn't appear to support folders but does support marking your files as "hidden" (about the only significant security option - which I'm sure is by design).

Oddly enough, if you drag an email with a file attachment to a full blown Quickr place, a folder is auto-created. When you drag that same type of email to your Quickr Entry place, the files are just split out flat w/o a folder being added.

That's what I'd heard. It sounds as though it's deliberately like that - I hesitate to say crippled. Shame really - rules it out for us.

Quickr Entry must have folders to compete...vote for this change here:
