Now that the cat's out of the bag, I can confirm the panelists for tomorrow morning's "From 1984 to 2005 and beyond: The future of Lotus Notes" panel. As previously confirmed, Esther Dyson will moderate the panel. The other panelists are:
- Irene Greif, Fellow, IBM Research
- Mike Rhodin, VP Development, Lotus/Portal/Workplace
- Ray Ozzie, CEO, Groove Networks
- Conrad Cross, CIO, City of Orlando FL USA
- Mike Dituro, Managing Director, Deutsche Bank
I'll be (voice permitting) kicking off the panel, so see you there.

I'm confused... is IBM Workplace Collaboration Services the new name for IBM Lotus Workplace or is it a blended solution of IBM Lotus Workplace products like IBM Workplace Services Express?

While I'm not a fan of anonymous, off-topic questions, I guess I can answer it.
Workplace Collaboration Services is the new name for the combined (formerly Lotus) Workplace capabilities -- the non-express version of Workplace Services.

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed the panel - great discussion and for a relative newbie to Notes like myself it was pretty insightful.
Thanks!

And in the spirit of Apple and Microsoft, when will you start suing vowe for IP transgressions :<)
