Really happy to see these two press releases from IBM Lotus partners this week...

Elguji Software's IdeaJam Wins Coveted Lotusphere 2009 Awards:

Elguji Software announced today that its IdeaJam software application won the prestigious IBM Lotus Chief Technology Officer Innovation and Breakout technology awards, at Lotusphere 2009, while also being named as a finalist for the Best in Showcase award. Taking Lotusphere by storm, Elguji Software's IdeaJam, the industry's first XPages application, proved that it's helping to create a highly engaging and usable "Web 2.0" user experience for its customers.
Great to see Bruce, Matt, and Gayle getting some visibility in the market at large -- IdeaJam is a solution that is as appealing to non-Lotus shops as it is to the Notes installed base of customers, and this release should help further that market reach.

Genius Inside Defies Economy, Sets Record-Breaking Sales And Company Growth In 2008:
Genius Inside, the creators of the award-winning Genius Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software, today announced its 2008 revenues increased 28% over 2007, reflecting increased demand for its range of PPM products, offered both as an SaaS solution and for Lotus Notes and Domino. In addition to setting a new income record for the company, the increase is providing strong momentum for Genius Inside's sales and marketing moves for 2009.

In the last six months of 2008, Genius Inside added 20 new enterprise accounts, representing a total of over 5,000 new users. Among the many new corporate names on the Genius Inside roster are Amcor Pet Packaging, Applegate, Bunge, Carl Zeiss, Danone, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Mercury Consulting, Mizuno, and the National Urban League. ...

For 2009 Genius Inside anticipates its workforce will again double in size as it expands its North American presence.
Growing, healthy, opportunistic partners -- good stuff for all of us.

Not to steal any thunder from the remarkable announcements above, there is another IBM Lotus Notes application that is helping to create fresh awareness of IBM Lotus Notes as a platform for enhanced productivity and knowledge management: eProductivity for IBM Lotus Notes.

Like IdeaJam, this recognition is happening outside the Yellow Bubble causing people to reconsider IBM Lotus Notes in a new light.

Ed, We use both of these products (IdeaJam and Genius Project) and I can say that the accolades are well deserved. As you know, we are a small shop, and we love the low overhead of these products. They are both feature rich and worth every penny.
